Fed: Labor says PM no longer the electoral asset

Labor's claiming Australian voters are slowly starting to realise JOHN HOWARD isn't
the person to lead them in the future.

Opposition federal-state spokesman BOB MCMULLEN says opinion polls are showing Mr HOWARD
isn't the asset to the Liberals he once was .. but he still has to be recognised as one
of the wiliest politicians around.

Mr MCMULLEN is expecting the prime minister to come up with something ahead of the
election due later this year.

But he's told the Ten Network Mr HOWARD is wrong on industrial relations and Iraq ..

and doesn't get it on climate change.
