FUSED deposition modelling specialist Stratasys has introduced a prototyping and production system that combines performance with an entry-level price. The FDM 360mc machine provides the same accuracy, repeatability, and material specifications as the more expensive FDM systems, and is aimed at users who do not need all the speed and features of that range.

The performance of the FDM 360mc is the result of technology innovation and manufacturing process improvements in the extrusion head gantry which have made it straighter and stiffer.
